Noise at Work Assessments
Noise at Work assessments are carried out within the workplace to assess whether employees are being exposed to noise levels that could damage their hearing. Acute Acoustics can carry out Noise at Work Assessments as per 'The Control of Noise at Work Regulations' 2005
Noise at Work Assessments involve measurement of noise levels within the workplace which are analysed together with employees working patterns and shift lengths to calculate daily personal noise exposures [LEp,d] and compared against values within the current legislation.
Advice on hearing protection and noise control is available and, where necessary, noise control engineering solutions can be investigated in conjunction with a local company specialising in this a field.
